On the chaotically-mild shores of America's jetski-ridden north coast, an unknown author is approached under bizarre circumstances to help ghostwrite the memoirs of an eccentric older man. When the man's stories begin to misfire, the author finds himself caught between reality and the wild narratives we tell ourselves about that reality.
