The Ruffing After School Crafts, Arts, and Language Society (aka RASCALS) is a new multi-session after-school arts initiative led by local artist and Ruffing parent, Mic Fox.

At RASCALS, students will have the opportunity to design, build, produce and collaborate in a less formal Montessori environment.

Session One 9/21 thru 10/7
Stop Motion Movie
(FULL)

In our first session, we’ll be working on a Stop-Motion-Video. Students will paint backgrounds, create characters, write a small script, and do their own voice-over work, resulting in a short collaborative movie that they can share with friends and family.

This session is offered to our Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary students (1st-5th grade) from 3pm and 5pm on Mondays and Wednesdays between 9/21 and 10/7. That’s six classes over the course of three weeks.

3pm-5pm (5pm Pickup)
9/21 and 9/23
9/28 and 9/30
10/5 and 10/7

All spots are currently filled for this first three week session but there are more sessions and opportunities coming soon!

This being our first session, we’re looking to gauge interest. So please feel free to reach out to Mic with any questions.
